GUEST SPEAKER: KYLE O’MEARA
Kyle O’Meara is a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) CERT Coordination Center (CERT/CC) and an Adjunct Faculty Member at Carnegie Mellon University. He has been in the Information Technology field for 13+ years, most, if not all, focused in the security realm. Much of his current work is research and analysis of current and emerging threats to national security with a focus on malware, exploit kits, and wireless protocols. Before SEI CERT/CC, Kyle has worked with FireEye, Stroz Friedberg, and the National Security Agency (NSA). Kyle also attends and has spoken at National and International Cyber Security conferences including DEF CON, Senate Cyber Threat Intelligence Summit, FIRST Technical Colloquium, and BSides.
