Leveraging experience and technical expertise, the Senior Server Engineer will be responsible for:

• Build/Design/Re-Design customer infrastructures
• Configure, install, upgrade, update and maintain client server environments
• Plan and implement projects in Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server 2010 and SQL Server 2008
• Plan and implement virtualization projects using VMware VSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Plan and implement virtualization projects using Red Hat and CentOS Linux
• Support server infrastructure for existing customers
• Provide Presales support for Sales Team on the following:
  • Microsoft Products
  • VMware Products
  • Backup Technologies
  • Overall infrastructure architecture

Work experience requirements:

• 5 + years experience designing, administering, and managing server infrastructures
• Experience in supporting and troubleshooting large, complex server environments and networks
• A solid understanding of LAN and WAN technologies knowledge is a must
• Extensive experience (4+ years) with Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications
• Extensive experience (2+ years) with VMware ESX and VSphere
• Experience with Linux Operating Systems
• Ability to respond to on-call / on-site situations within required SLA parameters
• Extensive administration experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and IIS
• Functional understanding of Firewall, DMZ, VPN, VLAN and Radius
• Positive, proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work alone as an individual contributor, as a technical lead when required, and as a participant in a team environment
• Willingness to participate in rotating schedules and share on-call duties

 Education Requirements:

• College Degree in Computer Science/MIS or equivalent work experience (5+ years)
• MCITP Enterprise Administrator required
• VMware Certifications desirable
• Red Hat Linux Certifications desirable
